Why I became a Makeup Artist
From EOS lip balms to bridal makeup artist: MY STORY
I didn't wake up one day and decide to become a makeup artist. It happened slowly, then all at once.
It started with YouTube, a teenage obsession with beauty gurus, and buying every single beauty product they recommended. It turned into me being the go-to person for every friend and family member who needed their makeup done.
Moving from Sydney to Melbourne meant a fresh start in a new city. And that is exactly what it took for me to finally go all in on becoming a professional makeup artist.
I spent years telling myself I wasn't good enough to do this professionally. Turns out, the people around me knew better than I did.
This is the story of how I got here - and why I wouldn't change a single thing.
